Nicholas Park is a senior foreign attorney and co-managing partner at Lee International IP & Law Group. He advises clients on a variety of issues related to general corporate, corporate financing, real estate, litigation, intellectual property, entertainment, labor, defense, healthcare, government contracting, and international trade matters including customs.
Mr. Park regularly advises both domestic and multinational clients on cross-border commercial transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financing, and real estate transactions. Mr. Park has served as the lead attorney on transactions involving the sale and purchase of listed companies, creation of international joint ventures, and a multi-billion dollar licensing arrangement. In addition, Mr. Park has extensive experience in advising clients on customs and trade related matters involving rules of origin, transfer pricing, customs valuation, and the cross-border transfer of products and services. In the defense and avionics industry, Mr. Park represents many of the top multinational aviation and defense manufacturers and component companies.
In addition to general corporate work, Mr. Park represents a large number of movie production houses, music studios, entertainment companies and celebrities with acquisitions, concert productions, licensing, franchising, endorsement, and government relation matters.
Prior to joining Lee International IP & Law Group, Mr. Park was an attorney at Coudert Brothers where he served in the International Trade Remedies and Corporate departments. Mr. Park has also worked as a part of Doosan Corporation’s Strategic Management Team where he advised on the restructuring of 22 subsidiaries during the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis. In addition to his role at Lee International IP & Law Group, Mr. Park frequently lectures at Korea University and the University of Seoul on contract negotiation.
